Balanced is specifically designed using the latest scientific evidence to help you improve your physical activity, sleep and dietary behaviours. Balanced can help with one, or all of these behaviours. We have made sure that tracking your behaviour isn’t complex, just setting goals and tracking your progress for against a few key metrics. It is meant to be informative yet quick.


Who is running this study?

Balanced is being lead by Professor Mitch Duncan from the University of Newcastle. Project collaborators include researchers from the a number of different universities. Balanced has been created with support from the National Health & Medical Research Council of Australia, National Heart Foundation of Australia and Diabetes Australia over the years.

Who can take part?

Balanced is directed towards adults to help improve their activity sleep or diet. All you need to do is sign up and begin using it. We have conducted a number of studies using the Balanced app to help people improve their behaviours. You can read more about these here.
